On February 27, 2001, The Lake Oconee Area Association of Realtors awarded its highest honor to Mary Lenett. Only 3 realtors in history had been inducted into the Association's Hall of Fame--Mary became Number 4. This designation recognizes exceptional service, spirit and leadership, as well as talent and character. No agent in the Association’s history has been more deserving.
Mary has served as President of the Association, various other offices and on numerous committees. She is a Life Member of the Million Dollar Club, has been named Realtor of The Year, twice, by her peers, and received the Association's President's Award in 1997. She is a Graduate, Realtors Institute (GRI) and completed the requirements for both the Accredited Buyer Representative designation (ABR) and the e-PRO designation.
As co-owner of a local Century 21 franchise in the early 1990s, Mary received the coveted President’s Award from Century 21, and after becoming a Coldwell Banker Associate, she was awarded the International Diamond Society designation in 1997, 98 and 99, and in 2000 was named to Coldwell Banker’s International President’s Circle, in the top 12% of her peers – worldwide. In 2002, Mary joined Uncle Remus Realty, Inc., one of the original four full-service agencies on Lake Oconee, and by far the most experienced with 20 years of service per agent on the average. Uncle Remus Realty became RE/MAX Lake Oconee in September of 2003, and that agency has been recognized as one of the area’s outstanding growth companies.
Mary specializes in Lake Oconee property, including lake lots and homes both in and outside of the golf course communities.
"My family and I found Georgia’s Best Kept Secret, FABULOUS LAKE OCONEE, in 1988. That trip began a torrid affair which has never cooled. I would love to share those feelings with you . Be careful though; don’t come look if you’re not prepared to fall in love. Oconee will surely do it to you too!"
